N2  -  Summary. The encyclical letter of Papa Francesco on an integral ecology (with its universal, not religious or catholic approach to the theme) includes a very comprehensive “care” of the world. It appears to be of specific interest and relevance for an innovative understanding of the role of the nursing profession, which crosses also frequently the fragile victims of the violations of the “human ecology”, and which is called to be among the actors of active promotion of fundamental rights to life.
