N2  -  Summary. The new drugs of 2014: what is worthwile saving. A list of the main therapeutic novelties of the 2014 is presented and commented on, stressing which active principles can be added to the tools to improve patients' wellbeing. A selection of the 71 active principles with an unfavorable risk/benefit ratio in clinical situations where their use was approved is reported in the second part of this contribution. Some are drugs with heavy side effects, others are old drugs with a risk/benefit ratio less favorable compared to new molecules, some others drugs with no evidences of benefit.
